In the Windows search bar type command
From the right-hand side click on Open.
When the Command Prompt window opens type diskpart.
Next, type list disk and press Enter.
Type select disk followed by disk number.
For formatting partition, additionally type list partition followed by select partition and press Enter.
Type clean.
