How Flipboard Problems May Appear

Causes of Flipboard Not Working
Although it seems to be pretty rare, there are several things that can cause Flipboard not to work properly. For example, if you’ve created a magazine that covers a very niche topic, it’s possible that it just hasn’t been updated since the last time you saw it, but there could also be something more be something more going on.
Another cause of problems with Flipboard could be that you’ve inadvertently logged out (or logged into the wrong account), or that you’ve missed an update to the app. Regardless of the issue, these troubleshooting steps should help you get Flipboard back up again.
How to Fix it When Flipboard Isn’t Working Right
If your Flipboard app isn’t working correctly, try walking through these troubleshooting steps. Start at the top of the list and try each one of the suggestions individually until you resolve the problem you’re having.
Check to be sure you’re logged into Flipboard. If your Flipboard magazines aren’t updating, it could be that you’re logged out, or that you’ve logged into the wrong account (if you have multiple accounts). Make sure you’re logged into the right account and then refresh your feed to see if the problem resolves itself. If you’re using Windows 10 and have downloaded the Flipboard app from the Microsoft Store, you may encounter issues when you try to log in using your Facebook credentials. If that’s the case, you’ll need to contact Flipboard Account Verification Support (account-verification@flipboard. com) to update your account login information to an email address and password combination. Update your Flipboard app. If Flipboard is out of date, it can cause the app to crash each time you open it. To fix this, update the app from your devices app drawer. The process for updating apps on Android will vary from the process for updating apps on iOS and iPadOS. Force quit and restart Flipboard. Many devices today keep apps running in the background all the time, which is useful, but can sometimes result in apps that don’t behave well. A restart often seems to work to to clear fuzzy errors, reconnect networks, and other minor issues that are mostly unnoticeable because they don’t affect all aspects of your device. Check to see if Flipboard is down. Occasionally, the Flipboard networks will be down for maintenance. One way to find out if the problem is on Flipboard’s side is to go a website service that monitors site health, like Downdetector, to see if Flipboard is down or if the problem is on your end. When all else fails, contact Flipboard’s Tech Support. If you can access the app, you can contact support by going to Profile > Settings > Help. At the top, select Contact Us. If you can’t access your Flipboard app, you can go to Flipboard’s Help Center and click Contact to start the process of connecting to Flipboard.
